The Bellevue Underground Mine is a unique and historically designated underground coal mine located in the Crowsnest Pass. We provide visitors with an authentic experience of what it was like to be a coal miner, while on an exciting hour-long tour underground guided by Heritage Interpreters.
Walk in a miners' footsteps
The underground tour will take you 1,000 feet into the mine, where you will be 150 feet below the surface. Explore the mine's inner-workings while you learn about the rich history of one of Canada's underground coal mines.

Go Underground
Equipped with a miner’s helmet and lamp head underground with one of our Heritage Interpreters.
The tour will last roughly 1 hour. Travel back in time to explore the Crowsnest Pass’ rich underground mining history.
